Open Evening Invitation.

We are pleased to invite prospective students and their families to attend our upcoming Open Evening at Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre.

Date: Wednesday 17th September
Time: 4.00pm – 7.00pm
Location: Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre, Ashford Road, Tenterden, Kent, TN30 6LT
Principal’s Presentation: 5.00pm and 6.00pm in the Sinden Theatre

This event offers an excellent opportunity to learn more about our broad and balanced curriculum, high-quality teaching, and enriching co-curricular programme. We warmly invite prospective Year 7 students and their families to experience the values and ethos that underpin our school community.

Please note that open events for prospective Sixth Form students will take place in November.

The evening will include:​

• Guided tours of our extensive campus and facilities

• Presentations and displays from a wide range of subject areas

• Opportunities to speak with staff and current students

• Information on academic and vocational pathways

• Insights into pastoral support, enrichment, and wider school life

There is no need to book for Open Evening. However, if you would like to register your interest for the 2025/26 Year 6 cohort, we will be happy to keep you informed about future Open Events and our Homewood Assessment Day on Saturday 6th December.

Open Morning Invitation

We also warmly welcome families to attend our Open Morning, where you will have the opportunity to visit Homewood School during a normal working day.

Date: Week Beginning 15th September
Time: 9.15am - 11am
Location: Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre, Ashford Road, Tenterden, Kent, TN30 6LT

The morning will begin with a short briefing from a senior leader, followed by a guided tour of the school. You will be able to observe lessons, explore our facilities, and speak with staff and students about life at Homewood, our curriculum, support systems, and extra-curricular opportunities.
