Hub Manager required for 1 day (8 hours) per week
HUB Manager
Salary: NJC Scale S01, Points 23-28, £6,547 - £7,578 (Pro rata from £35,571 to £40,445)
1 day (8 hours) per week term time only
Are you confident and empathetic, passionate about ensuring that students of all abilities achieve their best outcomes? We are looking for an organised and efficient manager to work closely in partnership with the existing Hub Manager for one day a week to support the work of our SEND department. The successful candidate will oversee day to day running of The Hub managing students accessing interventions for students not in lessons who are working in The Hub.
The successful candidate will work alongside our Assistant SENCO and our Director of Inclusion, ensuring our students access appropriate support to meet their full potential. They will lead on all Reboot programmes following alternative to exclusions (ATE) and exclusion or as a preventative before such issues. A qualification in SEND provision is desirable though not essential as training will be given to the right candidate. Knowledge and experience of working with outside agencies would be an advantage.
Applicants should have experience working with children. Some management experience is desirable but not essential. They should have the ability to inspire others, be decisive and ensure impact. A capacity for sustained hard work is vital.

Post 16 Learning Support Assistant
Salary: NJC Scale 2/3 Points 3-6, 28 hours per week, term time 193 days only
£16,429 to £17,449 (Pro rata from £25,615-£26,847)
Initial Fixed Term Contract for 1 academic year
As part of our commitment to inclusive education we are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and dedicated Sixth Form Learning Support Assistant to work closely with post-16 students who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) or executive functioning barriers to their progress in A-Level, BTEC, and vocational courses.
The successful candidate will join our established Learning Support Team, working in close collaboration with our Sixth Form Pastoral Team, SENCO, and subject specialist teachers. You will work with individual students, small study groups, and in mainstream post-16 classrooms and study sessions to foster student self-advocacy and academic independence.
Key Responsibilities & Role Focus:
- Academic & Study Skills Facilitation: Support young adults in developing independent study strategies, advanced literacy, research skills, organisation, and time-management techniques suitable for Level 3 qualifications.
- Key Worker & Mentoring: Act as a trusted adult and key worker for a designated group of Sixth Form students, supporting their social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs and academic tracking.
- Preparation for Adulthood (PfA): Support students through critical transition phases, including preparation for their next step be that further college study at Level 1, 2 or 3 or higher education (UCAS), apprenticeships, employment, and independent adult living.
- Exam Access Arrangements: Assist with the implementation and facilitation of JCQ Access Arrangements (acting as a Reader, Scribe, Prompter, or Practical Assistant during formal assessment periods).
- Reviews & Documentation: Contribute qualitative feedback and progress monitoring to EHCP Annual Reviews, student profiles, and associated paperwork throughout the year.
Candidate Profile:
Ideally, candidates will have previous experience and training in working with young people (aged 16–19) across a range of needs, both in lesson contexts and targeted intervention sessions.
- Qualifications: Essential qualifications in English/Literacy and Maths/Numeracy equivalent to at least NVQ Level 2 / GCSE Grade 4/C.
- Skills: Confident across post-16 subject environments, digitally literate, and skilled in building professional, respectful relationships with young adults.
- Mindset: A strong commitment to empowering students to lead their own learning rather than creating dependency.
Access to ongoing specialist training, including Post-16 SEND strategies and JCQ access arrangement training, will be provided.

Cover Supervisor - 32.5 hours per week
