Caretaker
Salary: £12.58 per hour
Part time, full time, casual, weekend work considered.
Are you a practical person who can work independently using your own initiative, or as part of a team?
The successful candidate will have responsibility for the maintenance of the school site, and occasionally other Trust sites, ensuring that rooms/buildings are open and ready for use by hirers; and are then locked appropriately to ensure the security of the school site. You will also assist with maintenance projects and renovations including external works. There may be a requirement to be on call if any problems arise.

Our school is set in a 55 acre site midway between London and the Channel Ports and is easily commutable via major roads and motorways. We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic leader with a strong track record of raising students’ attainment. The successful candidate will inspire and enthuse our students, developing an outstanding curriculum, which will instil a love of science for our students.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a large team of hard-working specialist teachers who are committed to high standards and the success of our students. Working alongside other TLR post-holders, the successful candidate will develop the curriculum and teaching methodologies alongside providing support and guidance to colleagues.

In our modern facilities, our large science department teaches a variety of subjects and qualifications to develop our students up to Key Stage 5.
