School Trip Summary

On Saturday 23rd July, 29 Sports Leaders and PE students flew to Barcelona to take part in a week of cultural and team-building watersports and activities in Tossa de Mar. The week involved activities such as kayaking, snorkelling, banana boating, rock climbing and more as well as including a cultural visit to Barcelona to visit the Sagrada Familia.

The students were an absolute joy to take abroad and their behaviour was impeccable throughout. The age range was between 13 and 18 years old and despite this disparity, all students worked together to ensure the trip ran smoothly. Something really special to witness was the bond between the students - 29 students and everyone socialising together and being inclusive. Old friendships embedded, new friendships formed, lasting memories made. The 3 PE staff who attended the trip could not have been more proud of the students and the way they represented themselves and Homewood.
