Annual Careers Convention

Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre, Annual Careers Convention March 2023

On Thursday 30th March 2023, Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre hosted its annual Careers Convention. This year’s fair was bigger and better than ever with over sixty businesses and education providers exhibiting in the Sports Hall. Exhibitors talked to students from all Year Groups, sparking the imaginations of Year 7 and 8 students alongside exploring different potential career pathways for our Year 9 and 10 students. Our Year 11 and Sixth Form students also gained information about their future career choices. 

This year the businesses exhibiting included: London Institute of Banking & Finance, Channel Commercials, Brakes, McCabe Ford Williams, The RAF, The Army, Border Force, Givaudan, Stevenson Brothers, Hadlow College, 3D Printing, Benenden Hospital, University of Reading, University of Kent, University of Brighton, Water Bear, Oxford University, Canterbury Christchurch University and The Hair Academy.

Well done to our fantastic student ambassadors who supported the event and to all our exhibitors who offered their time voluntarily to support our students.
