Master Classes

Homewood School runs Masterclasses on Saturdays throughout the year, enabling students in
Years 4, 5 and 6 to visit the school and experience a vast range of subjects available to students,
giving them a taste of Secondary School life here at Homewood.

Students can enjoy an array of activities such as team building, forensic science, ceramics, cooking,
face painting, farm skills, football, hair & beauty, gymnastics, trampolining and have fun down in the woods on our very own assault course.

Due to Covid these have been put on hold, however we are hopeful that the Masterclasses can resume again from September 2021. We will update you with more information soon.

For now, please take a look at our Masterclass Leaflet and read about some of our previous
Masterclasses below.

Masterclass LeafletStudents in Years 4, 5 and 6 enjoyed a fantastic morning with us.  Some were in the woods conquering the assault course and team building games, while the other group investigated a ‘who dunnit’ forensic science class looking at fingerprinting and analysing hair samples. Everyone said it was great fun!

A previous Masterclass saw 50 Primary School children enjoyed a morning with us making sea creatures from clay, cooking pizza and chocolate chip muffins and completing an assault course and team building events in the woods. Everyone had a great time and made new friends.
