Term One: Autumn

Key skills investigated and explored then moving into researching and planning for the main unit of coursework, including evidence of:

·           Developing

·           Exploring

·           Recording

·           Presenting

Developing a continued understanding of the A2 style sketchbook or project sheet format.

Also planning the topic of study for the Personal Study, and how it will be based on 1st hand information / research.

Working on the main coursework project and Personal Study.

Term Two: Christmas

Term Three: Winter

Mock exam (practical project or individual tasks set by the teacher), working towards completion of the prep work and final piece/s for the main unit of coursework.

 

February 1st = Begin exam unit - the topic is set by Edexcel.  Again, including evidence of:

·           Developing

·           Exploring

·           Recording

·           Presenting

Term Four: Spring

 

Completion of prep work for the exam unit of work, with a 3 day exam to complete the final piece/s.
