Update:
Following on from their amazing 48-5 victory at Wye, our Under 16 boys travelled to The John Wallis Academy tonight where they had to play 2 fixtures. Their first game was against John Wallis who we lost to last season but that loss was definitely not playing on their minds as they went on to win 30-8. With a short rest and inspirational team talk from Coach Lawrence the boys were back on court to take on The North School's Basketball Academy. The first quarter finished 5-5 with a nervy start from both teams, North dominated the second quarter racing to 13-5 at half time. It was time for Coach Lawrence to do his work - the boys went back on and with some phenomenal 3 pointers from Reuben the boys won the 3rd quarter to bring it back to 17-13. Unfortunately fatigue was beginning to set and despite a sterling effort the boys lost this game 23-17. The boys have finished second in their division so will be through to the playoffs which will be taking place in the second week back after the holiday.

Our Under 16 Basketball Team had their first league game on Thursday 26th January against Wye School, we are very proud to report that they won 48-5. There were some amazing performances, particularly from David, Reuben and Liam. The team are looking sharp and have been partly coached by Lawrence, one of our Year 13 students.
Ms Bulless, Principal Teacher of PE said the Basketball Team had done incredibly well. Our next game is on Wednesday 8th February at The John Wallis Academy.
