Members of the Homewood School Riding Team have had a busy and successful half-term break, participating in three competition days plus a team training and bonding day.

It was particularly special to have some of our youngest riders - who joined last year but due to COVID restrictions never got to compete for the school - being involved.

As well as a large number of clear rounds there were two team 1st places and a team 2nd plus two individual firsts for Jess: the newest recruit to the team.  Here are the full details:-

Liv: two double clear rounds at the Grassroots Show Jumping event at Duckhurst

Amy: 2nd place at 60cm in the Regional Points League Show Jumping

Jess, Amy and Maisie: Team 1st place at 70cm; Jess also took individual 1st place, only having joined the team two weeks before! Amy was 3rd and Maisie came 5th.

Jess, Harley, Charlie and Sophie: Team 2nd at 80cm; once again Jess took the individual 1st place on the podium

Harley, Molly, Charlie and Sophie: Team 1st at 90cm; Sophie claimed individual 3rd

At the subsequent Felbridge Show Jumping event, the team of Harley, Molly, Charlie and Sophie came 7th; individual placings results are still awaited.

Not only did they achieve such great success in these different events, they continue to be wonderful ambassadors for the school.  A huge congratulations to them all.
