Extra-curricular, Clubs, Trips & Activities
Homewood School provides numerous opportunities for students to take part in a wide range of educational trips and visits throughout the year. These help to enrich the curriculum and allow students to experience the world beyond the classroom.
The school has a strong commitment to the added value of learning outside the classroom,
some of which takes place beyond the statutory school day and beyond the school premises.
Some of our recent trips include:
- European trips run by our Modern Foreign Languages Department to China, Normandy,
Cologne and Château de la Baudonniere
- Historical trips to significant World War sites, such as our annual trip to Ypres in November
- STEM trip to Disneyland
- Ski trip to Italy
- World Challenge to Cambodia
- Iceland Geography Trip
- Drama and Music London theatre trips to support GSCE and A Level including ‘The Women In Black’, ‘Within Her Eyes’ and ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time’
