Uniform Shop and Equipment

Monkhouse Schoolwear supply our uniform via their website (https://www.monkhouse.com/school) and from our onsite shop.

Our onsite shop is located in the Kirk Building/A Block adjacent to the Mansion Reception.  The shop opening hours are term time only Tuesday and Thursdays from 8.30am to 4.30pm.  The shop closes for lunch 12noon -12.45pm. The onsite shop will also be open during the Summer, by appointment.

Summer Opening Hours 2026

Appointments will be available from Monday 15th June through till the end of August.

Dates as below:

  • 22nd July Opening times Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am – 4pm through till Wednesday 2nd September
  • First day of Term - Thursday 3rd September 8.30am – 4.30pm

 

Uniform List - Years 7-11

Please find a list of the school uniform items required by students in Years 7-11. Please note not all items are compulsory (shown in brackets).

To be supplied via our school shop or online through Monkhouse:

  • Grey school trousers or grey school skirt with the school logo
  • A navy blue blazer with the school logo
  • A Community school tie with the school logo
  • A navy blue jumper with the school logo (not compulsory)

To be purchased via our school shop/online through Monkhouse or an external retailer

  • A light blue collared shirt (this item can be short or long-sleeved)
  • Formal black leather shoes (many shops and websites market trainers as shoes, but this does not mean that they would meet our school policy)
  • Socks which must be plain, black or grey, either short or knee-high (socks with bows or socks above the knee will not be permitted). Students are also permitted to wear plain black tights instead of socks 
  • Plain black or navy-blue coat
  • Suitable school bag

PE Kit List

To be supplied via our school shop or online through Monkhouse:

  • Black and royal blue polo shirt with the school logo

To be purchased via our school shop/online through Monkhouse or via an external retailer:

  • Plain black netball skort or plain black shorts
  • Plain black leggings or plain black tracksuit bottoms (non-compulsory)
  • Long black sports socks or short black or white socks, depending on the activity
  • Plain black hooded top (non-compulsory)
  • Sports training shoes with non-marking soles
  • Football boots (not compulsory) and shin pads (compulsory for some lessons)

To be purchased from an external retailer

  • Plain black, plain navy or plain white baselayer (‘skin’) for colder weather (non-compulsory)

All PE kit should be brought to school in a bag and not worn to school
