Sixth Form Cabinet.

This year’s Sixth Form cabinet comprises of students across both Year 12 and Year 13 and from a range of subjects across the school. The cabinet lead the student body through a number of different initiatives. This year the cabinet are attempting to raise £3,000 for the amazing charity ‘Anaesthesia Awareness’, alongside raising awareness of emergency – fundraising appeals, the most recent one being the impacts of Hurricane Matthew Haiti. The students are running film-nights, bake sales and parties to raise funds.

Students on the cabinet take a positive role in leading the school committees aiming to make positive change throughout the school in the areas of, Charity and Sports, Health and Wellbeing and the Environment. Past campaigns have included raising understanding of mental health and a school wide recycling campaign.

Many of the cabinet have undertaken mentor training and are matched up to students within school who need academic or social support, demonstrating a commitment to the school at all levels.
