We are looking to appoint a general Site Technician. The post holder will assist the team with maintenance projects, renovations, including external works and be available for emergency call-outs.  Duties include ensuring that rooms/buildings are open and ready for use, locking up and maintaining site security. 

Homewood School “A good School in all aspects” OFSTED October 2012, is a progressive and innovative school set in a 55 acre site midway between London and the Channel Ports.  The school is easily commutable via major roads and motorways from London. The School has an established reputation for engagement in curriculum development, personalisation and welfare management.

The Science Department are a large team with a strong track record and wide range of courses.  Facilities are excellent with a very supportive technical team.  We use the School Farm to promote conservation work, green issues, environmental science and curriculum enrichment through forensic sciences and dissection.  The department also has a rich programme of trips, visits and extra-curricular activities.

The construction department at Homewood school currently follows the Edexcel Level 2 BTEC in Construction and the built environment.  Students start the course in either Year 9 or Year 11 and beyond.
