Business Studies Level 3

Qualification: BTEC Level 3 National in Business

Optional at Year 11+

This is a very flexible course allowing students to opt for the qualification as a single or double option.  Students can complete either the Certificate, Subsidiary Diploma, Diploma or Extended Certificate over 1, 2 or 3 years of study.  Students can also choose to specialise in various areas of Business including:

• Accounting
• Marketing
• Human Resources
• Management
• Law
• Administration
• Retail

In the second year and beyond students have a free choice over what units of coursework to study and complete coursework assignments for.  There are 41 different coursework units (the units can be seen below).  This is a course designed to be tailored to the individual students needs and wants, and therefore fits alongside any career aspirations.  It is a qualification in which students learn about the world they will soon step into when they leave education.
